About me:
My complete name is Daniel Gil-Muñoz. Well, officially it's without the hyphen, but I include it in order to highlight that Gil is my first surname and not my middle name.

Since September 2023, I am a postdoctoral researcher at IMUB, the mathematics institute of the University of Barcelona.
​
Previously, from August 2021 to June 2023, I was a postdoctoral researcher at Charles University in Prague, as a part of the project UFOCLAN (Universal Quadratic Forms and Class Numbers) led by Vita Kala.
​
I finished my PhD in July 2021 at the Politechnical University of Catalonia, on the topic of the arithmetic of Hopf-Galois extensions. My advisors were Professors Anna Rio and Teresa Crespo.
​
Apart from mathematics, I love reading books, and I write reviews on them in Goodreads. Other than that, I've been learning to play the piano since 2018. I'm still a beginner, but I aspire to be able to play something worthy of being shared in Youtube.
